2DJGAME / Mikocon is preparing to migrate to a new archive backend and perform beta testing starting from 2024-02-03.
Existing users of 2DJGAME/Mikocon Archive, can experience the new archive system, which provides SFTP and HTTPS Webdrive download. There will be improved UTF-8 Support to mitigate recurring problem of garbled filename on existing FTP.

All users which have a valid 2DJGAME/Mikocon FTP account as of 2024-02-03 will be offered 200GB New Release and 100GB Old Release credit for testing.
Testing period is expected to be 1 week, to test download quota.
After testing, existing credit from FTP will be migrated to new system.
Typically in use FTP software such as Filezilla and SmartFTP supports SFTP. New web interface will make usage slightly more convenient.

Also, Archive price will change on 2024-03-01 by the volume of credit offered
1-Month Block Purchase - Previously: 100GB New Release + 40GB Archive / New: 100GB New Release + 50GB Archive
4-Month Block Purchase - Previously: 500GB New Release + 20GB Archive / New: 500GB New Release + 250GB Archive
20-Month Block Purchase - Previously: 2500GB New Release + 1000GB Archive / New: 3000GB New Release + 1500GB Archive

Compensation scheme for existing users:
1. All users without active account on 2024-03-01 will not have any compensation
2. Users with expiry date on or after 2027-06-01 is considered Heavy User.
2. Users with expiry date before 2027-06-01 is considered Light User.

For used [Archive] credit, there will be a 2.5% (Light User) / 50% (Heavy User) rebate. For Example: If you downloaded 1000GB [Archive] previously, you will receive 25GB (Light) / 50GB (Heavy) rebate to your account.
For unused [Archive] credit, it will be re-scaled from 40GB to 50GB (Remaining credit <120G) / 50GB to 60GB (Remaining credit >120G) on 2024-03-01. For Example, you have 400GB [Archive] credit left, the credit will become 500GB (Light) or (600GB (Heavy).
