We can accept donation by Webmoney JP or BitcashEX.
But I am afraid we cannot provide any perks as of now.

Firstly, we are still tidying up the workflow to release, to the point that we can't even spare enough hand to prepare perks.
Secondly, based on past experience on game releases, there are people who abuse the perks and use that to profit, be it money or GP, so fame (that they are the first one to release in the world).

I hope you understand our views.

Do you think it might be possible to get the artists names on releases in romanji? Also for the VIP section it would be awesome if you guys could either post the table of contents page(every mag seems to have one and it would be easier then typing it out manually), or just a list of the artists. I noticed you don't post previews of every chapter like in public releases so you really don't know all of what your getting.

First of all, thank you for your hard work.

My suggestion is in regards to the magazine/chapter releases.

Would it be possible to be able to select a chapter of our choosing a day or something like that? I don't like how the chapter releases are dependent on the order in which they appear in the magazine.  If I'm only interested in one particular artist, I have to hope that the chapter is placed somewhere at the beginning.

First of all I would like to say thanks, this site is really nice work.
It is almost surprising that everything is working just fine.
I hope you can continue things this way.

There is just one thing you could improve.
Can you do something about the delay in the section [VIP 未放流ゲーム (Non-Public Released Games)] ?

I have used the 2djgame archive search site and looked up the time of the [141226] releases.
The first title of [141226] has a delay of over 6 hours.
In contrast the section [ゲーム (Games)] has a delay of less than 1 hour for the [141226] releases.

Of course, I will just wait if it is a manpower problem.
Anyway it would be easier to wait if you could explain the reason for the difference in delay between the sections.

I'm not very sure what are you talking about.

Some games are delayed of either by two reasons:
1. Games pending crack (no point to pay for a game that isn't playable)
2. Staff(s) handling VIP upload is not online.

Not all our staffs are experts, nor do they have the time to handle every single aspect of the process chain. There is no hurry to put it on VIP as soon as possible (a few hours is reasonable)

On the other hand, getting the non-exclusve games posted as soon as possible is our priority, as it affects our download income / premium sales.

Now I can also imagine that you are not sure what I am talking about.

I just saw
A (no crack needed) to [Games] takes 30 minutes
B (no crack needed) to [VIP] takes 6 hours.
So I just asked why because 6 hours  often means the next day for me.

It would not be strange in general to expect VIP service to be faster than public service.
After all the VIP area is the main advantage of this site over the blog.
And you state in the release objectives [To provide download as fast as possible]
That is why a 6 hours delay is a bit disappointing for me.

I did not think about the DL income, thought that is generated on chinese sites, AS, blogs and such.
I also did not know that you need different staffs for VIP/public.

Thanks for the clarification, now I know the reason why it is like this.
And I hope you can understand what I was talking about.

Our staffs helps to run this community, it isn't a part-time or full-time job so I hope you understand we can't be around 7x24x365 and dedicate 100% of our time here.
Try to push it faster will only save a small amount of time but put undue stress on our staffs.

Hello. I've tried asking this in magazine release replies, but maybe here would be better. Since you guys came back I've had a problem viewing your HQ releases with MangaMeeya7, which I'd always used before. For some reason nearly all the pages of those releases up to now that are PNG's are shown over-exposed, nearly whited out. This only happens with PNG's for some reason, so unfortunately I've had to settle with MQ.

Do you know what could be the cause of this, or a way to view them properly? Is there a better viewing software that you'd recommend for viewing your releases? I have grown accustomed to MangaMeeya though so if there is anything that could be done, let me know. Thanks.

Hi,

Our PNG files were optimized by optipng, which appeared to have changed the color profile to reduce size.
And this color profile is not supported by Mangameeya and some other tools.

We have stopped using optipng since two months ago so the problem should be disappearing in our new releases.

Hello,
For a while a square/checkered pattern keeps coming up in your magazine releases. It's especially apparent in darker grays. Especially visible for example in Kairakuten 2015-03, pg.376. Really sorry to complain. Just wanted to know if it was an easy fix. Mikocon has been the standard in mag quality so just felt it was worth mentioning.

Hello,

As I know, this issue often happens when the images are "Rescaled" by software,
and this also happens on EH gallery mode too.

If the problem keeps bothering you, I suggest you to download the MQ/LQ quality files, they're designed for browsing on PC/Mobile Devices.

Downloads weren't working when I was using FlashGet as help text suggested. Suddenly it works using plain FileZilla client.
You should change help text if it's outdated
Also, speed limit seems to be 100 kb/s, not 50 as stated on release posts

Due to the IP bouncing "feature" we used for protection, it does not work with some FTP clients that think it is an attack.
Very old version of Flashget works as I tested it myself. Not sure if they "improved" the security with the new version of flashget.

The FTP service has ~200 active users all the time so it is working.
We're looking for alternative solution but it is hard to come by, and we don't have web coders to write something in-house.

FTP exists as an absolute backup link which can't be taken down (since our ISP drop all abuse email without even telling us they existed). This also exist so that our staff can "bump" thread in AS, without scarifying a good filehost just for bumping, or to introduce an unproductive filehost which probably negate the effect of able to bump.

Well, bumping this thread since bugtracker is currently down.
Since recent maintenance and reinstall of servers (probably, since I login rarely), public FTP stopped working in flashget.

Update:
Download only works if ftp client downloads this way:
1. connect
2. login
3. CWD /Public
4. RETR <file>
Tested in python script.
if it skips pt.3 and does RETR /Public/<file> then server replies that file is not found.

We've had some uploads that we prepared for collision stored on the Public server, hence we disabled file listing.

Although it appears that many users can still download without problem, I have restored the listing feature on the Public server.

From the start, I just wanted to notify you guys that the 'recommended' way of public downloading wasn't working with these settings. Maybe it was specific FTP server software quirk or a specific way that folder is mounted, idnk.
Anyway thanks, at least now everyone can just use whatever ftp client they like without trouble
...though I already wrote my own script to download files 'correctly' :)
